The structure of hammer mill

Hammer mills consists of a two-to four-armed beater bar that rotates inside a closed chamber, and the meal is forced through a screen on its way to the sample receiver. Hammer mills usually gyrate at about 8500-10,000 rpm. They are extremely robust. And the hammer or beater bar usually requires no attention for the life of the grinder. Occasionally screens wear out and the holes of the smaller scenes gradually increase in size under heavy use. This is partly a temperature effect. Wear is faster if the screens are continuously hot due to heavy workload .most hammer mills have rigid beaters, but some have swinging beaters

Hammer mills are operated at high speeds. the rotor shaft varies hammers that can be T-shaped elements, stirrups. Bars or rings fixed or pivoted to the shaft or to disks fixed to the shaft. the rotor runs in a housing containing grinding plates or liners. A cylindrical screen or grating. Serving as an internal classifier, usually encloses all or part of the rotor .the grinding action results from impact and attrition between lumps or particles of the material being ground, the housing, and the grinding elements. a large number of variations of the hammer mill are available: the Mikri-pulverizer, aero pulverizer, disintegrator, tornado mill. fitz mill, turbo-pulverizer, turbo mill, pin mill, kolloplex mill. Entoleter impact mill. Imp pulverizer, automatic pulverizer, hurricane pulverizer-classifier, Mikro-atomizer, Mikro-bud pulverizer, Mikro-ACM pulverizer, and the pulvocron.
